  • Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an alternative payment model that can improve access to high quality healthcare with a flat affordable monthly membership fee. This price transparency and creative health plan design can improve access and reduce costs.

  • Rise & Shine Pediatrics does not bill insurance for the services we provide as we are considered out-of-network provider. We do not accept third party reimbursements. However, your membership includes all primary care needs of your child as specified on the website and prices are monthly fee or discounted annual fee without hidden cost or copays. You will find your insurance will cover emergencies (ER visits, surgeries, hospitalizations).

  • Yes, we recommend our patients continue a major medical plan with a high-deductible and health savings account. If, you experience a major health issue, you will still need insurance to help cover it. We’re happy to refer you to insurance representatives who can help customize an insurance plan to your specific needs.

  • We offer convenient communication for quick questions, concerns, or discussions.

    Direct communication with the doctor via phone call, text message and email during respected designated after-hours times.

    Longer, un-rushed appointments.

    Please know that while the Practice cannot guarantee service after hours, on weekends and on holidays, we will do our best to answer your non-emergent questions in a timely manner.

  • Rise & Shine Pediatrics provides evidence-based medicine and fully believes and supports vaccines to prevent common diseases that cause serious harm.

    We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) vaccine schedule and CDC recommended vaccine schedule.

    We administer vaccines to your child.
